Roof leaking? We can look at it.
Repairs, storm damage and full replacements across Southwestern Ontario — by the crew that roofs the houses we build. If water is coming in, call rather than filling in a form.

Something is wrong now
Repair
A leak, storm damage, missing or lifted shingles, ice damming. The priority is stopping water getting in before it becomes a ceiling, insulation and drywall problem.
- Active leaks and water ingress
- Wind and storm damage
- Missing, cracked or lifted shingles
- Flashing, valleys and vent boots
- Ice dam damage
Planning ahead
Full replacement
A roof at the end of its life, or one being replaced as part of a wider renovation. Here the questions are material, lifespan and what the warranty actually covers.
- Complete tear-off and re-roof
- Decking inspected and repaired
- Underlayment and ice-and-water shield
- Ventilation corrected while it is open
- Replacement alongside a build or reno
Insurance claims
Storm damage? Photograph it before you touch anything.
Ontario policies generally cover sudden damage — wind, hail, a fallen limb — but not wear from age. Claims are won and lost on being able to show which one it was.
Photograph the damage before anything is moved or repaired, report it to your insurer promptly, and keep receipts for any emergency work. We can document the damage properly and speak to your adjuster directly.

A written price against defined work, including anything we expect to find under the shingles.

Do the work
Tear-off, decking checked, underlayment, ventilation corrected, site cleaned and magnet-swept.
Roofing questions
I have an active leak. What should I do right now?
Phone rather than filling in a form — 519-630-8801. In the meantime, put a container under it and move anything that can be damaged. If water is near light fixtures or an electrical panel, kill the power to that circuit. Do not go up on a wet or icy roof to look.
Will my insurance cover this?
Often, for sudden damage. Ontario home policies generally cover roof damage caused by an event — wind, hail, a fallen limb — but not deterioration from age or deferred maintenance. That distinction is what claims turn on. Photograph everything before anything is moved or repaired, report it to your insurer promptly, and keep receipts for emergency work. We can document the damage and talk to your adjuster.
Repair or replace?
Depends on age and how localised the problem is. A roof with years of life left and one damaged section is a repair. A roof near the end of its service life, where you are fixing something every year, is money better spent on replacement — and patching it can complicate a future claim. We will tell you which one you are looking at, including when the answer is the cheaper one.
How long does a replacement take?
Most detached houses in this area are a one to two day job once we start, weather permitting. The bigger variable is scheduling — after a significant storm every roofer in Elgin County is booked, which is exactly when everyone calls.
Do you work on the houses you build?
Yes — roofing is part of every SBR build. Offering it as a standalone service simply means you can use that crew without commissioning a house first.
Tell us what the roof is doing.
Four fields. If it’s urgent, call instead — we answer roofing enquiries first, but a phone is faster than a form when water is coming in.
