Autumn closings

Close it properly before the first hard frost.

We close pools across St. Thomas, London and Elgin County — water level dropped, lines blown and plugged, equipment drained, chemistry set for winter and the cover on.

Book early. There is a hard deadline on this one: the first sustained frost. Lines that still hold water when it arrives are how people end up replacing plumbing in the spring. Book before the forecast makes the decision for you.

Two services

Pricing depends on the pool type, size and condition, so we quote it rather than guess. Send the details below and you will get a specific number — not a range that changes when we arrive.

The easy option

Book both, and stop thinking about it.

Book the opening and closing together and you hold a slot in both peak weeks instead of joining the queue twice a year. We’ll get in touch each season to confirm the date rather than waiting for you to remember.

Book both seasons

Equipment service

Pumps, filters and heaters — repaired or replaced before they strand you mid-season.

Liner replacement

A tired liner on a sound pool is worth replacing. We will tell you honestly if it is not.

Thinking of replacing?

If the pool is past saving, we install fibreglass and vinyl liner pools.

Before you book

Do you service pools you did not install?

Call and ask — capacity varies through the season, and we would rather tell you straight than take a booking we cannot honour. If we can fit you in we will say so on the call.

What does it cost?

It depends on the pool type, size and what condition it is in — a vinyl liner pool with a safety cover is a different job from a fibreglass pool with a solar blanket. Tell us the details on the form and we will give you a number, not a range that moves later.

How late can I leave the closing?

Before the first sustained frost — not the first cold night. Water left in the return lines expands when it freezes, and that is how plumbing cracks below the deck where you cannot see it until spring. In this part of Ontario that usually means booking through October rather than waiting for November.

Can I book both at once?

Yes, and you should. Booking the opening and the closing together means you get a slot in both peak weeks instead of joining the queue twice, and we can plan the season around your pool rather than fitting you in. Choose “Both, every season” on the form.

My pool is getting old. Is it worth another liner?

Sometimes. If the shell and plumbing are sound, a new liner buys years for a fraction of a replacement. If you are patching the same problems every season, that money is better spent elsewhere. We will tell you which situation you are in. See pool installation.

Pick a week.

Tell us the pool and roughly when suits. We’ll come back within one business day with a date — or the nearest one we have.
